Those searching for top-end, long-term rental properties in the heart of Bangkok know all to well that it is an uphill battle to find the right place to settle in and enjoy. Almost all new developments are high-rise blocks, competing with many others for the limited space available - and sacrificing any sense of spaciousness along the way.

A very lucky few will be able to love Domus and truly feel at home. Gaysorn Property has taken 4 rai of prime land nestled between Soi 16 and 18 and have deliberately created a verdant haven just steps from the BTS and MRT at Asoke. Their concept was to create something different, just two low-rise blocks that exude taste, space and greenery - in short, a place where busy people can return after work and enjoy nature in the heart of the city. If location is everything, then Domus has got a winning recipe.

CB Richard Ellis’ Director, Theerathorn Prapunpong (Eddie), is understandably upbeat about the design concept of the complex and its reality, now completed. “Only 30 percent of the units are available for rent with a minimum term of twelve months’,” he said. “There are two bedroom units of 105 and 135 square meters, some with a study at 166 square meters. Three bedroom units are 210 and 250 square meters and the 310 square meter four bedroom ones include a maid’s quarters, study and walk-in dressing room thus becoming the icing on the cake. One notable feature is that ceiling heights are a uniform 3 meters - a decision that limited the height of the complex to only 12 stories.”

Viewers will be impressed before they enter a unit. The grounds are immaculately laid out with plenty of greenery. The accent on nature and space is by design not accident, with a great deal of attention being paid to creating spaciousness around the site and reception areas. It is not only natural but also very quiet. This accent on nature is carried over into the units, which are furnished in natural colors that have the effect of bringing the outside in. Overall the feeling is one of luxury, comfort, space, relaxation and taste. The high ceilings help create the ambiance of a complex where nothing has been left to chance and where every detail contributes to the harmonious whole. Needless to say all the furniture and fittings represent the highest quality and add to the sheer opulence of the units and complex.

Gaysorn Property has created something extraordinary in Domus and CB Richard Ellis has been involved all the way from the design concept. They have sold the units and now manage the complex. Being a multi-national real estate service company that provides all real estate services they are enthusiastic about Domus and what it offers to discerning tenants who appreciate the finer things in life. Theerathorn remarked, “I started in property management after graduating from Switzerland in hotel management and am now in my twelfth year with CB Richard Ellis. I love working with people from many different nationalities and because we know exactly what is available in the market I am in and out of many, many properties. I know all the designs, the features and the locations and can help people find exactly what they are looking for. I am excited about Domus because it is truly something very special.”

Listening to clients’ wants and finding a fit to their needs is difficult sometimes at the top end of the market. The majority of new complexes are smaller units on a limited area of land, so tenants are frequently forced to move if and when they can find somewhere more spacious or more modern. Theerathorn noted, “Posting time for expats is normally at least three years. If my clients are happy they will not move and I think clients who choose Domus will be more than happy, not just because there is not much else around, but because of the location, the design and the whole harmony of the concept. At prices ranging from 70,000 to 210,000 Baht per month residents of Domus will be getting the very best. It has, of course, a pool, sauna, gym direct telephone line and CCTV monitoring in each building. The smallest details have been attended to for lifestyle, comfort and security.”

Access can be a problem to condominiums in Bangkok. Domus is most fortunate to have access from two sois, thus avoiding any time-wasting U-turns. The expressway is close and if one chooses not take the car then the BTS and MRT stations at Asok are just a couple of minutes walk away. As for security, Domus provides 24-hour guards plus car stickers and a magnetic card allowing you direct access from the basement to your home. No one can enter your floor as you, alone, have exclusive access. Guests and visitors have to press the room number and a key provided by the tenant will grant access, but even then they will have to be accompanied by either the owner or a guard.

So, who will nestle in and call Domus home? Only those who will appreciate what the developer has created - a true oasis in the heart of the metropolis; a green and natural complex where nature’s colors and textures are repeated in the interiors. Domus is for those who value rest and quiet, a contemporary dwelling with state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings, comfort, quality, security and space - a haven after a busy day. A home where one can entertain without loud distractions, whether provided by noise or d?cor. A refuge in the heart of a busy city.

CB Richard Ellis is proud to invite inquiries from those who are looking for the very best condominium on offer in Bangkok. There are staff on site, or Theerathorn is happy to be called on his mobile 0816856158. Callers can be assured that they will listened to and valued and that every effort will be made to welcome them to their new home at Domus.
